I don't know exactly what it mean by " Make a table for each equation, and find the values "y" by substituting 1,2,3,4, and 5 for x.

What its asking is, lets say your equation is 2x+5

You'd make a table and have two columns x and y

Ex.

X|Y
1 | 7

Essentially you'd plug in ever x value to the equation and the answer is the y value
