If line f and line g are parallel, then the line cutting the two is called a transversal line.

In problem C, angle 5 and angle 4 are what we call alternating interior angles.

If two angle are alternating interior angles, they are congruent to each other. Therefore, if angle 5 is 32 degrees, then angle 4 is 32 degrees as well.
