The Skeleton she excavated proves that early hominids walked upright and we're almost four feet tall is the right answer.

Mary Leakey was an archaeologist who discovered the oldest human remains. She is well known for her discovery of “Homo Habilis and the Laetoli Footprints”. She uncovered fossils of Pre-Human hominids and gave a new way to the understanding of the development of bipedalism. Her team uncovered fossilized animal prints in 1976. An Australopithecine, called Luci, whose skeleton has been dated back at least 3 million-years-old. According to Lackey, Luci was an upright walker who stood about four feet tall.
