There are 8 + 7 + 5 = 20 watches is total

Now,

a.

P(digital watch) = 8/20 = 2/5

total 20 and of then 8 are digital

b.

P(not digital) = 1 - p(digital)

we already know 2/5 is digital, so

1 - 2/5 = 3/5

c.

P(analog watch) = 7/20

7 of the 20 total watches are analog

d.

P (not analog) = 1 - p(analog watch)

we already know probabiliity of analog is 7/20, so

P (not analog) = 1 - 7/20 = 13/20

e.

Out of 20 watches, 5 are smart, so

P(smart) = 5/20 = 1/4
