30%x + x = 143
.30x +x = 143
1.30x =143
divide each side by 1.30
x = 110

check
(30% x 110) + 110 = 143
33 + 110 = 143
143 = 143

hope this helps.

According to question :

30% of a number x =
(30*x)/(100) =
(3*x)/(10).

Added to the number

(13*x)/(10) = 143 .

On multiplying both sides by 10 .
