An exponent is how many times a number is multiplied by itself. So in this case that would be -2 x-2 x-2 x-2 x-2 x-2. -2 x-2=4. 4x-2=-8. -8x-2=16. 16x-2=-32. -32x-2=64. Hope this helps :)

-2^(6) = -2 with a exponent six
Well Exponents mean that you multiply the number 6 times.
Soo..

-2^(6) = -2 x -2 x -2 x -2 x -2 x -2 = 64

So
-2^(6) = 64

Good Luck! :)
