1.12/12 = x/3
1.12 * 3 = 12x
3.36 = 12x
3.36/12 = x
0,28 = x

Answer : $0.28 for 3 eggs

cross multiply

1.12 x 3 = 3.36

12 x X = 12x

12x = 3.36

divide by 12

x = $0.28 for 3 eggs
