If f is a funtion and c>1, then we ahve the following.
To obtain the graph of y=cf(x), vertically stretch the graph of f=f(x) by a factor of c.

Data:
factor=c=2
f(x)=y=5x

Therefore:
y=2(5x)
y=10x.

Answer: y=10x

if its a vertical stretch of 2, then you would multiply y by two, because the y-axis is vertical. therefore, the equation becomes 2y=5x.
