Question:-

4(x-2)=4x

We need to find the value of X.

Solution:-

\sf \longmapsto4(x-2)=4x

Firstly, Apply Distribution property:-

\sf \longmapsto(4)(x)+(4)( - 2)=4x

On Simplification:-

\sf \longmapsto4x + ( - 8 ) = 4x

\sf \longmapsto4x - 8 = 4x

Then, Subtract(-) 4x from both sides:-

\sf \longmapsto4x - 8 - 4x=4x - 4x

This equation may be rewritten as:-

\sf \longmapsto4x - 4x - 8 = 4x - 4x

On Simplification:-

\sf \longmapsto0 - 8 = 4x - 4x

\sf \longmapsto - 8 = 0

Add 8 to both sides:-

\sf \longmapsto - 8+8=0+8

On Simplification:-

As (-) and (+) equals to (-), It would be 8-8.Answer would be 0.

\sf \longmapsto0 = 0 + 8

\sf \longmapsto \: 0 = 8

There are no solutions for the equation.
