4+3X=19, 3X=19-4=15, X=5

2Y-7=9, 2Y=9+7=16, Y=8

A/3-10=6, A/3=6+10=16, A=16*3=48

5(B+4)=-15, B+4=-15/5=-3, B=-3-4=-7

Part 1) The sum of 4 and three times a number is 19

Let

x----------> the number

we know that

4+3x=19\\3x=19-4\\x=15/3\\x=5

therefore

the answer part 1) is equal to

The number is equal to
5

Part 2) The difference of twice a number and 7 is 9

Let

x----------> the number

we know that

2x-7=9\\2x=9+7\\x=16/2\\x=8

therefore

the answer part 2) is equal to

The number is equal to
8

Part 3) Ten less the quotient of a number and 3 is 6

Let

x----------> the number

we know that

(x)/(3) -10=6\\\\ (x)/(3) =16\\\\x=16*3\\\\x=48

therefore

the answer part 3) is equal to

The number is equal to
48

Part 4) Five times the sum of a number and 4 is -15

Let

x----------> the number

we know that

5(x+4)=-15\\5x+20=-15\\5x=-15-20\\x=-35/5\\x=-7

therefore

the answer part 4) is equal to

The number is equal to
-7
