60kg = 5x + 7x
12x = 60kg |divide both sides by 12
x = 5kg
5:7 ⇒ 5x:7x ⇒ (5·5) : (7·5) ⇒ 25 : 35
Answer: 25kg and 35kg.

5 : 7.....add them = 12
5/12 * 60 = 300/12 = 25 kg
7/12 * 60 = 420/12 = 35 kg
