5x - 2y = 10

Isolating y:

-2y = 10 - 5x

y = (10 - 5x)/(-2)

y = 10/(-2) + (-5x)/(-2)

y = -5 + 5/2x

This equation has the slope-intercept form with a slope of 5/2 and a y-intercept of -5
