To solve this question we will use the trigonometry ratios

From the given figure

In triangle IHG

IH = 27 and opposite to the angle of measure y

IG = 46 and adjacent to the angle of measure y

Since the tan ratio = opposite /adjacent, then

We will use tan y = IH/IG

\tan y=(27)/(46)

To find y we will use the inverse function

y=\tan ^(-1)((27)/(46))

By using the calculator

y=30.41108127

We can round it to the nearest tenth

y = 30.4 degrees

The m

To find x we can use the rule of the sum of angles in a triangle is 180 degrees

m

90 + 30.4 + x = 180

120.4 + x = 180

Subtract 120.4 from both sides

x = 59.6 degrees

The m
