Volume in liters:

870 mL / 1000 => 0.87 L

Moles ( CO₂) = molarity x volume

Moles (CO₂) = 0.75 x 0.87

= 0.6525 moles of CO₂

hope this helps!

There are a number of ways to express concentration of a solution. This includes molarity. Molarity is expressed as the number of moles of solute per volume of the solution. The amount of solute is calculated as follows:

Molarity = 0.75 mol CO2/ L solution

0.75 mol CO2/ L solution ( .870 L solution ) = 0.65 mol CO2 in the solution
