The answer to this problem will have to be –8 < x < 8. apparently the answer could be choice A or B. The numbers that belong here could be -7,-6,-5, -4,-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ,6 and 7. This also includes numbers that are irrational and rational in between the integers

1) the phrase all real numbers that are greater than
-8

represent the inequality------->
x> -8

2) the phrase all real numbers that are less than
8

represent the inequality------->
x< 8

therefore

3) the complete phrase all real numbers that are greater than
-8 and less than
8


represent the compound inequality------>
-8 < x < 8

the solution is the interval-----> (-8,8)

the answer is the option
