The tangent-chord angle is the half of the center angle
==>94°/2=47°

Explanation:

Since m(Arc)XY = 94°

Therefore angle at the center = 94°

Now in triangle formed at the center

∠XOY = 94°

Now ∠OXY+∠XYO = 180 - ∠YOX = 180 - 94 = 86

and we know ∠OXY = ∠XYO

therefore ∠XYO = 86/2 = 43°

Now ∠XYO + ∠XYZ = 90°

∠XYZ = 90 - ∠XYO = 90 - 43 = 47°

Option A 47° is the answer.
