Essentially, what the question is asking is whether a scale that measures in grams is more precise than a scale that measures in milligrams.

Milligrams are smaller than grams, so if you for example have an object that weights 81,34 milligrams the other weight would only show 0.81 grams - some information is lost!

So yes, a milligram scale is better - the statement is therefore false

I think it's false because if you measure very little weight it's better to use scale that measures the mass of an object in milligrams to two decimal places.
