x-y=7
3x-2y=8
Multiplying equation I by 2;
2x-2y=14
3x-2y=8
Subtracting equation 1 from equation II;
x=-6
Replacing for x in equation II
3(-6)-2y=8
-18-2y=8
2y=-18-8
2y=-26
y=-13
