Answer:

Given that,

The pool is of the shape rectangular prism has the length of 10, width of 5 and height of 4.

1.5^3 of water goes into the pool every minute, to find the total minutes it would take for the pool to be filled

To find the total volume of the pool.

Volume of the rectangukar prism is,

=l* b* h

wher l is the length, b is the width and h is the height.

Then, the volume of the pool is,

(Substitute the values)

=10*5*4
=200

Volume of the pool is 200 cubic cm.

It is given that, 1.5^3 of water goes into the pool every minute

Len n be the minutes it would take for the pool to be filled

we get,

\begin{gathered} 15* n=200 \\ n=(200)/(5) \end{gathered}

n=13(1)/(3)

13 1/3 minutes would take for the pool to be filled.

Answer is: 13 1/3 minutes.
