What are the coordinates of the vertex for f(x) = x^2 + 4x + 10?

the vertex (h; k) where
`h=(-b)/(2a);\ k=f(h)`

f(x) = x² +4x + 10

a = 1; b = 4; c = 10


`h=(-4)/(2\cdot1)=(-4)/(2)=-2`


`k=f(h)=(-2)^2+4\cdot(-2)+10=4-8+10=6`

Answer: (-2; 6).
