Answer; D

-Variation in species --> differential reproduction --> heredity --> natural selection --> evolution

Explanation;

If there is variation, differential reproduction, and heredity, then there will be evolution by natural selection as an outcome.

Variation of traits or characteristics in organisms leads to differential reproduction since the environment can not support unlimited population growth and thus not all individuals get to reproduce to their potential.

Differential reproduction causes heredity where traits or characteristics are passed on to the off springs. Then the end result is natural selection the more advantageous trait becomes more common in a population, eventually leading to evolution.
