A simple question about solubility, can you combine BaSO4 and Na2CO3 and form a precipitate?

whenever it's asking about the formation of a precipitate, you should not consider the solid form in the reactants, only in the products

BaSO4 (s) + Na2CO3 (aq) --- > BaCO3 (s) + Na2SO4 (aq)
so i think barium carbonat is the precipitate

hope this helps
