The triangles are similar. If QR = 4, QP = 2, and TU = 13, find TS. Round to the nearest tenth.

QP is the same as TS and PR is the same as SU and QR is the same as TU So, QP/ TS = QR/TU When you cross multiply, TS = (13×2)/4 The answer is 26/4 which is 6.5

Answer:

TS = 6.5

Explanation:

In two similar triangles corresponding sides are in the same ratio.

Therefore
(PQ)/(TS)=(QR)/(TU)

Given in the question

QR = 4

PQ = 2

TU = 13

Therefore
(2)/(TS)=(4)/(13)

TS = 13×2/4 = 26/4 = 6.5

Answer is TS = 6.5
