The two angles given in the equations are,

9x+4\text{ and 5x+20}

From the image given in the question, both lines A and B are parallel to each other.The two angles given in the question are alternate angles.

Alternate angles are angles which are equal to each other.

To solve for x, we will equate the angles together and solve for x.

\begin{gathered} 9x+4=5x+20 \\ \text{collect like terms} \\ 9x-5x=20-4 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} 4x=16 \\ \text{divide through by 4} \\ (4x)/(4)=(16)/(4) \\ x=4 \end{gathered}

Hence, the value of x that will make A||B is 4.
