Imagine disease kills 85 percent of the wolf population. How will it affect the other organisms?

Since the predator population is down the prey will over populate and become more than the remaining wolves can handle.

If 85 percent of the wolves will be dead, the population of other organisms that they were preying on would increase. The lives of the preys such as the deer, rabbits, moose, and other will be less dangerous.
