Li2S (aq) + SrI2 (aq) ----> LiI2 (aq) + SrS (s)
The precipitate is strontium sulphide. Lithium Iodide will be left in aqueous solution.

The second mixture = No reaction - all of the possible products of reaction will remain in aqueous solution.

Answer;

Li2S (aq) + SrI2 (aq) ----> LiI2 (aq) + SrS (s)

Step-by-step explanation;

-The precipitate is strontium sulfide. Lithium Iodide will be left in aqueous solution. A precipitation reaction refers to the formation of an insoluble salt (which is the precipitate) when two solutions containing soluble salts are combined.

Second case;

Potassium and sodium phosphate;

No precipitation reaction occurs -because all of the possible products of reaction will remain in aqueous solution.
