Hunting, fishing and ecotourism (including the use of vehicles on land and water) can be harmless to the biodiversity of an ecosystem if done properly and if regulated by the competent authorities.
However, if these activities are carried out indiscriminately and without knowledge of the flora and fauna, they can cause loss of biodiversity.
Some ways in which it could cause loss of biodiversity include pollution, habitat loss or overexploitation, for example.
For this reason, human intervention within a habitat must be well planned to avoid the loss of biodiversity.
