Kinetic energy is the energy related to the motion of the substances. When the liquid is heated to its boiling point, the particles move faster. This also corresponds to the increase in kinetic energy as kinetic energy is directly proportional to the particle's velocity.

Answer: when a liquid is heated to its boiling point, the particle movement and the energy increases.

Explanation: When a liquid is heated to its boiling point, it changes to gaseous form.

As the temperature of the particles have increased, the kinetic energy of the particles also increase as kinetic energy of the particles is directly proportional to the temperature of the system. The particles on gaining kinetic energy start moving more randomly.Thus we can say the particle movement and the energy increases.

K.E=(3RT)/(2)
