You can get the excluded value when you the denominator you get is 0:

First one: 9x 45=0

Second one: 2x + 48=0

Just plug in the values in x that would result in 0.

So for the first one:

9(5) – 45 = 0

45 – 45 = 0

X = 5

For the second one:

2(-24) + 48 = 0

-48 + 48 = 0

X = -24

I am hoping that these answers have satisfied your queries and it will be able to help you in your endeavors, and if you would like, feel free to ask another question.

Excluded values are the values that make the denominator equal to 0 because x/0 is undefined.

1)
9x - 45 = 0
9x = 45
x = 5

The excluded value is x = 5.

2)
2x + 48 = 0
2x = -48
x = -24

The excluded value is x = -24.
