You are to roll 2 dice. The sum of the dice should be odd in first ttempt and both the dice show 5 in the second attempt. 1) Out of the 36 possible outcomes, the sum is odd on 18 occasions, so the probability will be 18/36 which equals 1/2
2) The probability of both dice showing five is 1/36
