To solve this you just have to divide 5 by 5/6. To do this you have to first turn 5 into an improper fraction, which would be 36/6. After that you need to switch 5/6 so its 6/5 and you also need to change the division sign to a multiplication sign. Next, you can cross cancel the 6 in both 36/6 and 6/5 so they change to 36/1 and 1/5. Then you just multiply across and you should get 36/5. To change the improper fraction into a mixed number you have to divide 36 and 5 so then you'll get 7 with a remainder of 1 and then you can make 7 the whole number and then make 1 be the numerator and 5 the denominator so you get 7 1/5.
