Hello,

Opposed sides are equal.

7x+7=18-4x
==>11x=11
==>x=1

7x + 7 = 18 - 4x |subtract 7 from both sides

7x = 11 - 4x |add 4x to both sides

11x = 11 |divide both sides by 11

x = 1
