The unit price for the gas station M can be computed below

\text{unit price = }(y)/(x)=\text{ \$3.8 per gallon}

The unit price for gas station P is

\text{unit price = }(y)/(x)=(40)/(10)=\text{ \$4 per gallon}

Therefore gas station P charges more for gasoline.
