I think it's 1.
X^2 - 6x + 5 = 0
X^2 - 6x = -5
1^2 = 1
1 - 6 = -5

Hello,
x²-6x+5=0
==> x²-x-5x+5=0
==>x(x-1)-5(x-1)=0
==>(x-1)(x-5)=0
==> x=1 or x=5
