Problem

An object has an acceleration of 30 m/s^2. The mass of the object is 2kg. What was the magnitude of the force that caused this acceleration?

Solution

For this case we can use the following formula:

F= ma

And we can solve for F replacing m= 2kg and a= 30 m/s^2

F= 2Kg *30 m/s^2 = 60 N
