we know that

volume of the cylinder =
\pi *r^(2) *h

in this problem

diameter=14 units\\\\ r=(14)/(2) \\\\ r=7 units

Volume=
1,176\piunits³

solve for h

h=V/(\pi *r^(2) )\\ h=1,176\pi /(\pi *7^(2) )\\ h=24 units

therefore

the answer is

the height of the cylinder is
24 units
