A function is a polynomial only if it contains positive integer powers of a variable

Let us consider the given functions, only the function whose variables are raised to positive powers alone will be considered as polynomial

\begin{gathered} V(x)=5x(x-3)^2 \\ It\text{ is a polynomial (Yes)} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} u(x)\text{ = -3}\sqrt[]{x} \\ It\text{ is not a polynomial(No)} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} g(x)=6x^(-4)+4x \\ It\text{ is not a polynomial (No)} \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} f(x)\text{ = 2 - }(4)/(x) \\ f(x)=2-4x^(-1)_{} \\ It\text{ is not a polynomial (No)} \end{gathered}
