Answer:

21 Miles per Gallon

Explanation:

I assume you just have to change it into equal/equivalent fractions

(7 mi)/(1/3 gal)

For the divison fraction, divide both the numerator and denominator by 1/3

(7 / (1)/(3) )/((1)/(3)/(1)/(3) ), this equals to around
(21)/(1) (This'll make sense in a bit)

For the multiplication problem, Multiply both the numerator and denominator by 3

(7 *3)/((1)/(3)*3 ), this also equals to around
(21)/(1)

Since both the division and multiplication both totaled to
(21)/(1)

(21 mi)/(1 gal)

= 21 miles per gallon

Hope this helps!
