1) Let's decompose that polygon so that we can find out the area:

1 rectangle 6 x 11


S=w\cdot l\Rightarrow S=6*11\Rightarrow S=66\text{ in²}

1 rectangle 10 x 11


S=\text{ w}\cdot l\Rightarrow S=10*11\Rightarrow S=110

1 rectangle 10 x 6


S=\text{ 10}*6\Rightarrow S=60

1 triangle base 6, h = 6


S=(1)/(2)\cdot b\cdot h\Rightarrow S=(1)/(2)\cdot6\cdot6\Rightarrow S=18

Note that the formula of the triangle's area is half the product of the width by the length.
