Reorganize the equations;
y -2x = -3.5
-2y+x = -14
Multiplying equation II by 2
y-2x = -3.5
-4y+2x= -28
----------------
-3y=24.5
y=
(24.5)/(-3)
y= -8.17
Replacing value of y in equation 2;
-2(-8.17)-2x=-3.5
16.34-2x=-3.5
16.34+3.5=2x
19.84=2x
x=9.92
