For the following vectors, find w+ 2v – 3u: u = <-2, 1>, v = <5,- 1>, W = <-1,0>O <15, -4>O <15, 1>O <15, 5>O <15, -5>

Given:

u=<-2,1>

v=<5,-1>

w=<-1,0>

To find w+2v-3u,

First find 2v and 3u,

\begin{gathered} 2v=2<5,-1> \\ =<10,-2> \\ 3u=3<-2,1> \\ =<-6,3> \end{gathered}

Now,

\begin{gathered} w+2v-3u=<-1,0>+<10,-2>-<-6,3> \\ =<-1+10-(-6),0-2-3> \\ =<15,-5> \end{gathered}
