The rule of reflection over the line y = x is:

(x,y)\rightarrow(y,x)

The coordinates of A' = (1,-2) , B' = ( 3 , -4 )

So, the coordinates of A'' and B'' will be :

\begin{gathered} A^(\doubleprime)=(-2,1) \\ B^(\doubleprime)=(-4,3) \end{gathered}

We need to find the rule of transformation from A to A''

The coordinates of A = (1,2) and B = ( 3 , 4 )

So,

\begin{gathered} (1,2)\rightarrow(-2,1) \\ (x,y)\rightarrow(-y,x) \end{gathered}

The last rule is the rule of rotation 90 counter - clockwise

Or the rule of the rotation 270 clockwise
