(x-3)^2 =64

(x-3)^2 =8^2

x-3 =8

x = 11 so from this result choice A. is right sure

Answer:

A. 11 inches by 11 inches

Explanation:

Here, the given equation,

(x-3)^2=64

Where x represents the side of the original photo,

x-3=\pm 8

If x - 3 = 8 ⇒ x = 11.

If x - 3 = -8 ⇒ x = -5,

Since, the side can not be negative,

Thus, the side of the original figure is 11 inches,

Also, the photo is square shaped ( quadrilateral having equal sides ),

Hence, the dimension of the original photo is,

11 inches × 11 inches,

= 11 inches by 11 inches.

Option A is correct.
