Volume of a triangular prism is given by V = Al where A is the area of the triangular cross section, i.e.
A= (1)/(2)bh, and l is the length of the triangular prism.
Here, b = 8cm, h = 9cm, and l = 5cm.

A= (1)/(2)bh= (1)/(2) *8 *9=4*9=36cm^(2)
Therefore,
V=Al=36*5=180cm^(3)
