Given:-

Find the probability that a point chosen at random inside the square is not inside the

circle.

To find:-

The required probability.

So now we find the area of the square using the formula,


\begin{gathered} A=a^2 \\ A=10^2 \\ A=100 \end{gathered}

So the area of the square is 100.

Now we find the area of the circle using the formula,


A=\pi r^2

Since the side length is 10. so the radius of the circle is 5. Substituting the known values. we get,


\begin{gathered} A=\pi r^2 \\ A=(22)/(7)*5*5 \\ A=78.57 \end{gathered}

So now we substract the area of the square and area of circle to find the area of the shaded region. so we get,


A=100-78.57=21.43

So the probability that a point chosen ar randon inside the square is not inside the circle has 21.43 chances.
