A force of 4 N produces an acceleration of 3 m/s^2 on an object of an unknown mass.

1. What is the mass of the object?

2. If the force is increased to 6 N, what is the acceleration?

Force = mass * acceleration
4 = mass * 3
mass = 4/3 kg
if the force is 6 N
F = m * a
6 = 4/3 * a
a = 6*3/4
acceleration = 4.5 m/s^2
