f(n)=3+5(n-1)
17 th term is when n=17, therefore:
f(17)=3+5(17-1)
f(17)=3+5(16)
f(17)=3+80
f(17)=83
Answer: the 17th term is 83

an=a1+d(n-1)
a1=first term
d common differnce
n=which term
jsut sub 17 for n
f(17)=3+5(17-1)
f(17)=3+5(16)
f(17)=3+80
f(17)=83
answer is 83
