There are 18 marbles in total and 8 green marbles. 8 out 18 of the possibilities will be green so it's 8/18 = 4/9.

probability is (desired outcomes)/(total possible outcomes)
green:8
total possible=total
4+6+8=18 total
probablity=8/18=4/9
answer is D
