The rule of the volume of the cone is

V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h

r is the radius of the base

h is the height

Since the given volume is 235.5 cube yards

Then V = 235.5

Since the radius of the base is 5 yards

Then r = 5

Use pi = 3.14

Substitute them in the rule above

\begin{gathered} 235.5=(1)/(3)(3.14)(5^2)h \\ \\ 235.5=(157)/(6)h \end{gathered}

Divide both sides by 157/6

\begin{gathered} (235.5)/((157)/(6))=((157)/(6)h)/((157)/(6)) \\ \\ 9=h \end{gathered}

The height of the cone is 9 yards

The answer is C
