Let the number of miles = x

The charges = y

Sam's Towing charges $57 to come tow her car and then $2 for every mile they tow the car.

so, y = 57 + 2x

The equation that represents the total amount of money Aunt Maggie would have to pay to use Sam's Towing will be :


y=2x+57

So, the answer is option A. y = 2x + 57
